That way you'll get a nice, even distribution and you know it will look pretty when it's on her head! The one main difference is that the corners are gathered so that they hang down the center back of the veil, and not only at the sides like the rectangular cut. If you need a guide, try a large serving platter. To determine how much tulle you need for your veil, measure from the top of the child's head to where you want the veil to end and double that length. Julie, I've done some playing around with some tulle and here's my best guess at how you can make a cascading veil: Start with a very large circle of tulle.
